Wine Description
Since 1921, this lovely estate resides at the entrance of the sleepy village of Savigny-les-Beaune. Jean-Michel has now passed the stewardship of Domaine du Prieuré to the third generation, his son, Stephen Maurice. The wines of Stephen and Luci are reflections of their personalities: profound, refined and elegant, and our experience of their wines from the family cellars from the 1960's are truly breathtaking.
Light ruby in color, this wine is cool and restrained and features notes of both red and dark currant, earth and a hint of humus.
