Wine Description
Gaillac is a region in the south-west of France that is known to produce wine since the Roman times. Traditionally these richly colored, spice-scented red wines were used to embolden the lighter Bordeaux wines nearby.
The Braucol grape is an ancestral grape from the Gaillac region, and is not common in other areas of France. This wine is certified organic and is harvested completely by hand. The wine has hints of cassis and spice, and light tannins on the nose with a light body, but good intensity on the palette.
