Wine Description
Established in 1905 in the heart of Fronsac, Domaine Ponty is a family estate now guided by fifth generation winemaker Hélène Ponty. Founded by her great grandfather Victor, who left Corrèze to pursue his passion for wine, the domaine was built on a belief in tradition, community, and the simple pleasure of sharing a bottle. Each generation has preserved that spirit, shaping the vineyard’s identity while remaining rooted in authenticity. Since 2019, Hélène has carried the legacy forward with a thoughtful, modern perspective grounded in respect for the land.
Produced in the Canon Fronsac appellation, the wine reflects the depth and elegance of Bordeaux’s right bank. Farmed with organic and biodynamic practices, the vineyard expresses its terroir with clarity and balance, yielding a refined, expressive red that honors more than a century of family dedication.
