Wine Description
In 2016, the third generation of the Ruhlmann-Schutz family, long respected for their Alsace wines, expanded their vision south to Peyriac-de-Mer in the Corbières. There, amid garrigue, pine forests, and the sea influenced lagoons near Narbonne, they established Château Valmont with the goal of crafting expressive wines rooted in Mediterranean terroir. The 30 hectare estate, certified organic since 2020, reflects their commitment to sustainable farming, low yields, and precise winemaking that honors both innovation and tradition.
This dry rosé, crafted from Grenache and Cinsaut, captures the freshness of its coastal setting. Brilliant in hue and crystal clear, it reveals notes of blackberry, green apple, and delicate florals, carried by lively minerality and vibrant acidity. Balanced and refreshing, it offers a refined yet approachable expression of Corbières, perfect for warm days and relaxed gatherings.
