Domaine Rouge-Bleu was founded in 2007 by Thomas and Caroline, who farm 12 hectares in Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, nestled between the celebrated appellations of Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The estate is certified organic and farmed biodynamically, with fermentation carried out in porous concrete tanks and barrels several years old, a choice that lets the wine breathe and develop without picking up oak toast flavors. Native yeasts, unique to the estate's microenvironment, drive every fermentation.
This 2023 bottle carries the IGP Méditerranée designation, a broad protected geographical indication covering much of coastal southern France. Dentelle Blanc is built around Grenache Blanc alongside a wider blend of local white varietals traditionally grown at the estate, hand-harvested early to preserve natural acidity. Expect a clear, straw-colored wine with aromas of citrus, honeysuckle, and summer stone fruit, a crisp entry, and a soft, well-balanced finish with hints of apricot and tropical fruit filling out the palate.
The result is a bright, textured white built on old vines and minimal intervention, reflecting the same terroir-first philosophy that defines the rest of the Rouge-Bleu range.
