Wine Description
Domaine Nicolas Brunet encompasses 17 hectares on the prized slopes of Vouvray, where Chenin Blanc vines ranging from 3 to 75 years old are rooted in clay limestone soils rich in flint. With full organic certification beginning with the 2023 vintage, the estate reflects a deep commitment to sustainable farming and terroir expression. Beneath the vineyards, extensive tuffeau limestone cellars stretch more than 80 meters, naturally maintaining cool, steady temperatures ideal for aging the estate’s wines, which are known for both purity and longevity.
Fleur de Silex is a precise, mineral driven expression of this heritage. Aromas of white flowers, green apple, pear, and citrus mingle with notes of wet stone and chalk. Crisp and vibrant on the palate, it balances orchard fruit and quince with bright acidity and a pronounced flinty core, finishing clean, saline, and refreshingly elegant in classic dry Vouvray style.
