Wine Description
Founded in 2007 and led since 2011 by Thomas Bertrand and his wife Caroline, Domaine Rouge-Bleu lies in Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes in the Vaucluse. Centered around a 17th century Provençal mas, the 12 hectare estate is rooted in organic and biodynamic principles, farming old vines planted as far back as 1910. Surrounded by unspoiled nature and nourished by a nearby natural spring, the vineyards are dry farmed, hand harvested, and cultivated without synthetic chemicals. Extended aging in concrete and neutral oak, spontaneous fermentation, and minimal sulfur reflect a philosophy devoted to purity, biodiversity, and authentic terroir expression.
The 2023 Dentelle Blanc captures this spirit with white peach, pear, citrus blossom, and hints of fennel and wild herbs. Supple and layered, it balances gentle richness with bright acidity and subtle minerality, finishing clean and savory in a fresh, elegant Mediterranean style.
