Personal Note from David
Château de Ferrand (opened in 1702) is my personal favorite vineyard in the famous Bordeaux region of Saint-Émilion. I have visited multiple times, each time bringing friends from home or Fat Tire Tours staff. No one has ever left disappointed.
Château de Ferrand is one of the few vineyards to be classified as 'grand cru classé', the highest rating.
In fact, this was the first wine I imported to the USA, and the genesis for David's Wine Cellar. It is an excellent wine to accompany hearty winter meals, around a camp fire, or in the mountains. In short, I love it - and so do many of our friends.
