Les Vignobles Gueissard was founded in 2010 by Pauline and Clément, a couple who met while studying at the viticultural high school in Orange and later worked in wine regions as far afield as Australia and New Zealand before returning to Provence to build their own estate. The name honors their very first plot, a 1.5-hectare parcel called Gueissard, and Cuvée G was their debut wine in 2011. The domaine has since expanded across Le Beausset, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Castellet, and Sainte-Anne-d'Évenos, working toward organic conversion and Haute Valeur Environnementale certification, and using sheep to maintain the vine rows instead of chemical treatments.

This 2021 bottle carries the Côtes de Provence appellation, the region's largest and most well-known designation. Built around a majority Syrah base with Cabernet, grown on limestone soils that give the wine its mineral edge and structure, it's vinified to be direct and expressive. Expect a taut, mineral-driven red with fresh aromatics, real roundness, and enough length to reward a few years in the cellar.

The result is a precise, terroir-focused Provence red from a young estate already recognized as a serious representative of the appellation.
